Our client is seeking a dedicated and creative Brand Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of products and services, collaborating with marketing colleagues across multiple markets in Asia. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the brand, managing product lifecycles, and developing innovative growth strategies.

What you'll do:

As a Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's key products and services. You will be entrusted with analysing industry trends, devising strategic plans, and executing impactful marketing campaigns. Your ability to liaise effectively with local teams will ensure competitive pricing and promotional activities are implemented. Your innovative thinking will drive growth strategies that keep our client at the forefront of their industry. With your keen eye on competitor activities, you will help maintain our client's market position. Your representation of the marketing team across various functions will foster collaboration and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Analyse data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
  • Devise long-term strategies and go-to-market plans for product categories
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns aimed at communicating product brand message
  • Liaise with local marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
  • Devise innovative growth strategies
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, assessing ROI and KPIs
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and report findings
  • Represent the marketing team in cross-functional groups including sales and customer support

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Brand Manager role brings a wealth of experience in brand management along with a solid educational background in Marketing and Communications. You have demonstrated your ability to develop effective brand strategies and can identify target audiences with precision.   • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Communications or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience as a Brand Manager
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers
  • Outstanding communication skills
