An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and dedicated Assistant Brand Manager to join a dynamic team. This role offers the chance to manage a designated product portfolio, contribute to new product development, and implement marketing strategies in line with the company's direction. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to tap into consumer value pulse through market trend analysis and active observation of consumer trends.

What you'll do:

As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing your designated product portfolio, driving sales and overseeing operational marketing activities. You will be instrumental in formulating and implementing marketing objectives, strategies, and activities that align with the company's overall direction. Your contribution to new product development will be highly valued, as will your ability to monitor, evaluate, and manage allocated A&P funds. You will also be responsible for reviewing market dynamics, gathering feedback on business-related matters, and proposing counter-strategies. Your keen eye for analysing market trends and observing consumer behaviour will enable you to tap into the consumer's value pulse effectively.

  • Managing designated product portfolio in terms of sales and operational marketing activities.
  • Formulating and implementing marketing objectives, strategies and activities in tandem with the overall company’s direction.
  • Actively contributing through strategic input in new product development.
  • Monitoring, evaluating and managing A&P funds given.
  • Reviewing and gathering constant market dynamic feedback on all business related matters and proposing strategies for counter measure.
  • Tapping into the consumer’s value pulse via analysing market trends and active observations on consumer trends.

What you bring:

The ideal Assistant Brand Manager will bring a wealth of experience from the FMCG industry along with a degree in Marketing Management or another business-related field. With at least four years of professional experience under your belt, you are highly initiative-driven, results-oriented, analytical, creative, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be crucial to your success in this role. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, is a must. Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.

  • Degree in Marketing Management or other Business related qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience, preferably in FMCG industry.
  • Highly initiative, result-oriented, analytical, creative with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A good team player with initiatives and able to work independently.
  • Well-versed in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.
  • Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
