About the Regional Category Marketing Manager (B2B) Role: In this exciting new role, you will be responsible for leading effective marketing activities to foster the growth of the speciality and steel protection segment across the Southeast Asia and Pacific regions. You will drive regional and segment marketing plans, ensuring clear communication and co-ordination between the regional and local marketing teams.
Develop and implement tailored marketing plans based on a comprehensive understanding of regional market needs, maintaining open communication across all levels
Analyse customer behaviour to gain insights into the speciality and steel protection category within the region
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing plans using closed-loop analytics and other KPIs in accordance with the regional marketing strategy
Enhance the impact of global initiatives by collaborating closely with regional management and ensuring effective communication with local units
Collaborate with regional segment/concept sales teams, providing market insights for global innovation projects
Contribute to the growth, positioning, and profitability of the speciality and steel protection category portfolio through the development of communication strategies, activities, and tools at the regional level
Support the regional launch of new products, collaborating with marketing communications to ensure the promotional mix aligns with sales objectives
Prepare annual volume/value forecasts, marketing plans, and brand promotion plans
The successful Regional Category Marketing Manager (B2B) must have prior experience in brand or product marketing, ideally with regional exposure. B2B marketing experience is ideal, but experience in B2C segments is also welcome.
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years' experience or more in product marketing or brand marketing
Experience in management of people is highly advantageous
Strong experience in B2B marketing
Regional experience is preferred
High proficiency in verbal and written English
High initiative with a willingness to make things happen
Strong persuasion or influencing skills
Good commercial and business acumen to spot and seize commercial opportunities
Methodical and systematic in approach
