About the Assistant Brand Manager (FMCG) Role: In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of the brand, revenue growth management strategy, research and insights, future category opportunities, and integrated marketing communication activation. Your responsibilities align with company growth objectives and the strategic road map, reporting to the direct manager.
Collaborate actively with Marketing and Sales Managers to capture essential insights about consumers, operators, and the market. Translate these insights into opportunities to enhance the brand portfolio
Demonstrate the ability to understand and identify unique and opportunistic competitive insights. Execute actionable plans as directed by the line manager
Create consumer marketing launch plans for new product innovations, product re-launches, or category thematic campaigns as assigned by the line manager. Ensure these plans are developed accurately and within deadlines
Assess the effectiveness of activation programs in achieving specific sales objectives. Make recommendations for changes when necessary
Manage external agencies and business partners as the primary point of contact to ensure campaign deliverables are met. Collaborate closely with the Media Manager to ensure timely execution of the A&P spend for product's ATL communication
To succeed in the Assistant Brand Manager (FMCG) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with teams, across borders and internal matrix.
Degree qualifications in marketing or a related field
At least three years’ experience in a brand marketing, ideally FMCG personal care role
Extensive NPD and project management experience, managing multiple and complex projects
Sound commercial and financial acumen and technical/operational exposure including corporate business planning and budgeting
Ability to work strategically and operationally and adaptable to fast paced, changing and ambiguous environments whilst maintaining accountability
High degree of tenacity and persistence to get actions completed on schedule with a hands-on approach
