A newly created Marketing Lead job has been made available with a new international F&B chain entering the Malaysia market.
About the Marketing Lead (F&B chain) Role: The role will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's identity, driving customer engagement, and executing strategic marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience, ultimately contributing to our growth and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Brand Development:
Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives and overall business goals
Define and communicate the brand's unique value proposition and positioning in the market
Establish brand guidelines and ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels
Campaign Management:
Conceptualise, plan, and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling campaigns that span traditional and digital platforms
Digital Marketing:
Lead digital marketing efforts, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising
Monitor and optimise digital campaigns to ensure maximum reach, engagement, and return on investment
Market Research and Customer Insights:
Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, preferences, and competitive landscape
Utilise data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and adapt to changing market dynamics
Public Relations and Partnerships:
Build and nurture relationships with media, influencers, and industry stakeholders to enhance brand visibility
Identify strategic partnership opportunities that align with the brand's image and values
Team Leadership:
Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and encourage professional growth
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across various initiatives
Monitor expenses and ensure campaigns are executed within budgetary constraints
To succeed in this Marketing Lead (F&B chain) role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and cooperatively across all the teams.
Key Requirements:
At least a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
At least eight years' marketing experience in the F&B industry. Experience in managing a team directly is an added advantage
Proven track record of successfully leading marketing teams and driving strategic marketing initiatives
Strong understanding of coffee culture, food and beverage industry trends, and consumer behaviour
Extensive experience in digital marketing, social media management, and online advertising
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns
Proficiency in marketing software and tools for campaign management and performance analysis
Prior experience in launching and promoting new brands or products is a plus
