An exciting Senior Brand Manager (FMCG) job has just become available at one of the most respected global FMCG firms based in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, this is a role for a marketer who is a leader in their field.
About the Senior Brand Manager (FMCG)Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest quality service alongside the marketing director. You will also take the lead providing direction to all marketing-related activities, including brand management, market research, events management and directory/league table submissions
KeyResponsibilities:
Actively work with the Marketing & Sales Managers to capture key consumer, operator and market insights and translate these into commercial opportunities to enhance our brand portfolio
Work with the Marketing Manager to develop marketing activation campaigns to support our current portfolio, launch agreed NPD with excellence and support key sales execution focus areas
Evaluate the effectiveness of activation programs against specific sales objectives and recommend changes if required
Work closely with sales and customer planning to develop presentations and present to customers
Work closely with consumer service to assist with the investigation of complaints in respect to quality, delivery or service
To succeed in the Senior Brand Manager (FMCG) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.
KeyRequirements:
Degree qualifications in Marketing or related field
At least seven years’ experience in a brand marketing
Extensive NPD and project management experience, managing multiple and complex projects
FMCG food experience is preferred
Sound commercial and financial acumen and technical/operational exposure including corporate business planning and budgeting
Ability to work strategically and operationally and adaptable to fast paced, changing and ambiguous environments whilst maintaining accountability
High degree of tenacity and persistence to get actions completed on schedule with a hands-on approach
