An exciting Strategic Marketing Lead (FMCG) job has just become available at one of the most respected global FMCG firms based in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Regional Director, this is a role for a marketer who is a leader in their field.
About the Strategic Marketing Lead (FMCG)Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest quality service alongside the marketing director. You will also take the lead in providing direction to all marketing-related activities, including brand management, market research, events management and directory/league table submissions.
KeyResponsibilities:
Develop, plan, execute and management of the strategic brand plan, with the integration of marketing tools to achieve optimum long- and short-term brand and company objectives
Create robust plans consistent with long term brand positioning and strategic direction set, whilst striking a balance of consumer needs and trade/customer needs
Obtain and leverage brand/category insights to ensure campaigns are consumer centric
Develop well-integrated communication strategies in obtaining maximum results and meet overall objective set
Drive and maximise the usage of digital marketing in all brand campaigns to achieve brand objectives
Ensure that in market media plans are optimized to drive best ROI and impact across the different touchpoints
Ensure that local media plans are measured and evaluated
Allocate effective resources including ATL and BTL and achieve optimal touch-points for the respective brands
Execution of the effective A&P plan in meeting the marketing objectives of all campaigns covering areas, e.g. product, price, distribution and promotion
To succeed in the Strategic Marketing Lead (FMCG) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.
KeyRequirements:
Degree qualifications in Marketing or related fiel
At least 10 years’ experience in a brand marketing, ideally FMCG food or beverage
Extensive NPD and project management experience, managing multiple and complex projects
Preference for FMCG Food experience
Sound commercial and financial acumen and technical/operational exposure including corporate business planning and budgeting
Ability to work strategically and operationally and adaptable to fast paced, changing and ambiguous environments whilst maintaining accountability
High degree of tenacity and persistence to get actions completed on schedule with a hands on approach
