A Product Manager (HVAC) job has become available at a multinational company to join the team in Malaysia.

About the Product Manager (HVAC) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team in the promotion of the company’s range of products by providing technical support, product presentations, managing the NPI process for new product releases, liaising directly with manufacturing facilities and supporting the procurement team with the product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes
• Drive the product management and marketing activities of product portfolio across SEA and NA region to maximise growth in revenue/order and margin of the product line, by working closely with the pre-sales team, sales team, and other functional teams in SEA and NA
• Understand customers and market requirements, collecting critical voice of customer and corresponding product and solution needs
• Manage and coordinate market launches of new products and solution
• Conduct business cases, market penetration and product studies on product growth initiatives and new product/solution development
• Manage technical enablement and education of internal and external stakeholders on product/solution and product positioning into the marketplace
• Manage end-user, consultant and contractor technical engagement to influence product/solution specification and product/solution adoption
• Prepare and deliver new product launches, liaising with the marketing team and training academy for product launch programmes
• Prepare and deliver product/sales training programmes required by sales and services
• Evaluate new products and determine how it will fit into overall market and sales strategy/plan for the SEA region

To succeed in this Product Manager (HVAC) role, you must have prior product management/application experience preferably in the HVAC industry setting.

Key Requirements:

• At least five years' experience specialising in product marketing/management
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent disciplines
• Demonstrated experience in marketing data analytics and tools
