Product Manager (SEA)

A Product Manager (SEA) job has become available at a multinational company to join the team in Malaysia.

About the Product Manager (SEA) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for managing the product line up of the company and providing support to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes
• Determines customer needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information
• Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitor's products
• Obtains product market share by working with importers to develop product sales strategies
• Brings new products to market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programmes; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and product management in Germany
• Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production
• Provides source and data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives
• Business development in terms of the increase the sales of products in SEA and NEA region

To succeed in this Product Manager (SEA) role, you must have prior product management experience preferably in a B2B setting.

Key Requirements:

• At least five years' experience specialising in product marketing/management
• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent disciplines
• Demonstrated experience in marketing data analytics and tools
• Ability to travel overseas frequently
