About the Chief Marketing Officer Role:
You will be responsible to drive customer acquisition and in-app sales in Malaysia
- Work closely with the leadership team to define and build the brand positioning through research, strategy, design and content creation
- Create a shared vision for and culture of marketing and communication, in order to leverage the existing team and projects for sales and brand building
- Hire and manage the marketing team to produce impactful marketing and communications outputs, including engaging campaigns, multimedia took kits, social media posts and marketing collateral
- Develop, manage and steer local marketing agencies, including social media, digital media and PR companies
- Oversee existing communications channels, including websites, social media accounts, newsletters and media relationship
- Open new communications and marketing channels, and media and agency relationships
- Work to develop, pitch and place media content on third-party channels
- Constantly assess, evaluate and refine marketing and communication strategies, using best in class analytics approaches
To succeed in Chief Marketing Officer job, you will need to continuously manage and plan resources to ensure the agreed service standards are met. Contribute to the development of team members by providing regular coaching and counselling and monitoring the staff competency/ multi-skilling.
- Minimum eight to ten years experience in marketing
- proven record of developing and implementing creative, results-oriented ideas
- experience in driving and executing an online marketing and customer acquisition strategy that resulted in substantial growth
- ability to use data to drive decisions and gain company leaders’ support for marketing initiatives
- in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing platforms
- demonstrated success using segmentation of customers and databases to optimise results
- excellent analytical, business writing and project management skills
