Our client is seeking a seasoned E-commerce Manager to lead their online business operations. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing strategic online marketing plans, overseeing the company's website aesthetics, and driving sales through the online channel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with business partners, leading digital marketing initiatives, and ensuring the smooth operation of e-commerce functionalities.
What you'll do:
As an E-commerce Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our client's online presence. You will be responsible for directing the development of their e-commerce strategy, working closely with various teams to ensure adherence to these strategies. Your role will involve managing the P&L, leading the achievement of key performance indicators such as revenue, website traffic, conversion rate, LTV, and ROAS. You will also oversee all marketing campaigns aimed at customer acquisition and retention. Additionally, you will keep abreast of the latest trends in e-commerce to leverage market dynamics and opportunities. Your technical responsibilities include working with developers to maintain essential functionalities on the platform. Furthermore, you will monitor inventory levels, visual merchandising, and customer satisfaction.
- Direct the development and execution of e-commerce strategy and operating plan
- Work closely with Creative and Marketing teams to adhere to predetermined e-commerce strategies
- Manage e-commerce P&L, partnering with Finance for budgeting and forecasting process
- Lead the development and achievement of e-commerce KPIs: revenue, website traffic, conversion rate, LTV and ROAS
- Oversee all e-commerce marketing and promotional campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention
- Continuously monitor the latest e-commerce trends and tools to understand market dynamics and opportunities
- Work with developers to ensure essential e-commerce functionalities are always working and updated
- Monitor e-commerce assortment, visual merchandising, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this E-commerce Manager position brings a wealth of experience in online business operations. With a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Marketing, Business or a related field under your belt, you have spent at least 8-10 years in the field, with 4-5 of those years in a similar role. Your entrepreneurial mindset enables you to take initiative and connect all available resources for optimal results. You are fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, and your proven record of digital marketing expertise is complemented by your good knowledge of eCommerce platforms and marketplaces.
