Our client is seeking a Key Account Assistant Manager (Sports) to join their dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive profitable and sustainable market growth within assigned customers, while aligning with the brand's positioning and strategy. The successful candidate will have the chance to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, apply effective sales strategies, and ensure proper brand representation.

What you'll do:

As a Key Account Assistant Manager (Sports), your primary responsibility will be driving profitable and sustainable market growth within assigned customers. You will be tasked with establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders, effectively applying sales strategies, and ensuring proper brand representation. Your role will also involve pursuing additional business opportunities, managing interfaces across functions, developing account strategies, selling-in and agreeing on sell-through support. You will also assist the credit function in credit related issues of assigned customers.

  • Establish strong relationships with customer’s key stakeholders to increase sales opportunities and brand presence.
  • Effectively apply sales strategies, policies, and best practices of the Wholesale sales business.
  • Allocate resources, negotiate, implementation and tracking of action plans to achieve agreed annual net sales target.
  • Ensure proper brand representation and in-store execution.
  • Pursue additional business opportunities and apply a strategic mid-long-term approach.
  • Manage all interfaces by frequently addressing requirements across functions.
  • Develop the accounts strategies ensuring quarterly updates of strategic account initiatives.
  • Sell-in and agree on sell-through support.
  • Conduct and share sell through information from account.
  • Assist the credit function in credit related issues of assigned customers.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Key Account Assistant Manager (Sports) position will bring excellent communication skills, the ability to manage relationships & diversity, strong planning and organizing skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. They will also have the ability to influence others, negotiation skills, and a commitment to learning and self-development. A degree in Business Administration or a related field is required along with a minimum of 4 years work experience in Sales or product merchandising related field.
