Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ad Operations Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role is a critical blend of technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving. You will manage the technical aspects of ad campaigns, from setup to execution, and analyze data to inform strategic adjustments that maximize performance.

What you'll do:

As an Ad Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the technical aspects of various ad campaigns. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing a variety of online advertising campaigns such as display, video, mobile, programmatic RTB, social media, LinkedIn, and native ads. You will be responsible for the daily management and optimization of each account's campaigns to ensure success metrics are met. Your keen eye for detail will help you identify potential issues early on and your innovative mindset will enable you to suggest effective solutions. You will also be tasked with creating insightful reports that provide valuable information for clients.

  • Manage display, video, mobile, programmatic RTB, social media, LinkedIn, native online advertising regional campaigns for strategic clients.
  • Daily management and optimization of each account’s campaigns to ensure success metrics are achieved.
  • Identify potential issues and communicate recommendations for improvement.
  • Suggest campaign media plans and tactics; develop solutions based on client success metrics, KPIs, or desired campaign results.
  • Perform excellent data analysis and optimize the delivery of running campaigns.
  • Create weekly reports, ad hoc reports, and final reports with audience insights, performance insights, and brand insights that are meaningful for clients.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Ad Operations Manager role is someone with extensive experience in digital marketing agencies or ad tech companies. You have a proven track record as an account strategist, trader, or ad operation and are well-versed in managing regional online advertising campaigns across various platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, DV360, Xandr (AppNexus), TikTok, LinkedIn. Your knowledge spans across ad platforms, DSPs, SSPs, ad networks, and ad exchanges. You possess expert skills in search, display, social, video advertising tools, programmatic platforms, ad trafficking. Your ability to manage complex client projects/campaigns sets you apart from others. You are detail-oriented and organized with a solutions-oriented mindset. Experience in Analytics & Measurement Tools like Google Analytics and GTM will be an added advantage.
