About the Revenue Growth Management Lead (FMCG)Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest quality service alongside the general manager. You will also take the lead providing direction to all sales and marketing-related activities, including sales, key account, brand management, market research, analytics and directory/league table submissions.
Conduct annual pricing review to identify potential revenue management benefits (based on revenue management analytics, market intelligence, etc.)
Build analytics methodology – from interpretation of business needs to translation of requirements/user cases. Further refine conceptual solutions to execution of recommendations
Design and deliver compelling presentations with clear storylines to highlight key findings and expression of ideas
Lead mix management strategy across categories and sizes to increase profitability for the company and customers
Implement multiple revenue management projects across numerous REs and customers capitalising opportunities in pricing, promo optimisation, trade terms effectiveness, mix and pack/formats strategy
Define integration of Revenue Management into both annual planning and monthly reporting processes
Improve category annual planning that embodies the principles of RGM
Ensure Revenue Growth Management reflects the company’s Commercial Selling Principles
Prepare basis for the development of different scenarios for budget purposes
Monitor the relation between actual prices and costs, versus budgeted ones, reporting on a monthly basis the current level of achievement of budgeted contributions
To succeed in the Revenue Growth Management Lead (FMCG) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.
Five to seven years of analytics experience, preferably in FMCG with at least one year of functional experience in revenue management
Strong project management skills with a consulting mindset to actively engage stakeholders yet translating complex thoughts into easy-to-understand actions
Technical expertise in statistics/operations research/economics. Working knowledge of tools i.e. Power BI/SQL/Python is highly valued. Must have interest in this area
Strong data analytical skills – ability to review complex, ambiguous/incomplete data, pulling out key insights, where they have been focused on delivering outcomes with great attention to detail is essential
Intellectual curiosity and ability to search out facts without prior process/guidance and forming a structured thought process
