Senior Trade Marketing Manager

They are currently seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team in Selangor. This role will be responsible for developing and overseeing the success of various marketing efforts/initiatives to build brand awareness and achieve sales goals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in synergy with the Sales team to identify new growth opportunities and ways to improve the brand's reputation and presence.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's brand image and market presence. You will be tasked with developing all marketing efforts which includes channel strategy, planning, trade promotions, loyalty programs, as well as building both BTL and ATL Marketing Plans. Your role will also involve creating engaging content that provides customers with relevant information, advice, and conversion opportunities. Regularly assessing price positioning of products against competition will also fall under your purview.

• Develop and execute go-to-market promotion and strategic plans
• Develop strategic plans for the markets through thorough analysis of market trends and competitor activity
• Facilitate the deployment of retail partnership programs
• Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle
• Manage and track co-investment budget related to trade promotions activities
• Set goals and utilize analytics tools to track and optimize channel partners performance and engagement
• Review major activations to share key learnings

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Trade Marketing Manager position brings a wealth of experience in trade marketing and promotions. You should have deep familiarity with marketing for the Malaysia market, including leveraging social media, paid search, SEO, and email channels for campaign amplification. Your ability to stay up-to-date with current marketing trends, tools, technology, and techniques will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your strong project management skills coupled with your ability to think critically will enable you to lead projects effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in BA, Marketing or other related fields/disciplines
• At least 7 to 10 years of work experience in trade marketing and promotions
• Deep familiarity with marketing for the Malaysia market
• Experience in leveraging social, paid search, SEO and email channels for campaign amplification
• Up-to-date with Marketing trends, tools, technology, and techniques
• Good project management and analytical skills: able to think critically and lead projects effectively
