About the Regional Marketing Manager (Retail) Role:
In this business critical role, you will be a key player in the Marketing team responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth within the specified region. This role will focus on both digital marketing and traditional marketing channels, encompassing Above-the-Line (ATL) and Below-the-Line (BTL) strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of regional market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify key market opportunities and challenges, and adapt strategies accordingly.

  • Collaborate with the central marketing team to align regional initiatives with overall brand objectives.

  • Oversee the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, and online advertising.
  • Analyze digital marketing metrics and performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Manage the regional website and online presence, ensuring content is up-to-date and engaging.
  • Plan and execute ATL marketing initiatives such as TV, radio, print, and outdoor advertising.
  • Coordinate with creative agencies and media partners to develop impactful advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of ATL campaigns and optimize them for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Develop and implement BTL marketing activities, including events, sponsorships, direct marketing, and in-store promotions.
  • Work closely with sales teams to support retail and trade marketing efforts.
  • Measure the effectiveness of BTL activities and adjust strategies to improve ROI.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and improve marketing strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and present findings to senior management.
  • Manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Track marketing expenditures and ensure activities are within budget.
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance and support for professional development and career growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales teams, product managers, and external partners.
  • Act as a regional brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events and conferences
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans tailored to the regional market.

To succeed in the Regional Marketing Manager (Retail) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.
