About the Regional Marketing Manager (Retail) Role: Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth in other regions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and oversee marketing initiatives across multiple countries to ensure consistent and effective messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Marketing Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive regional marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats within the region
Campaign Management:
Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive foot traffic and online sales
Coordinate with local teams in different countries to adapt and localise campaigns as needed
Brand Management:
Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels
Monitor brand reputation and take proactive measures to maintain a positive image
Digital Marketing:
Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including website management, email marketing, social media, and online advertising
Analyse digital marketing performance metrics and make data-driven improvements
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within the regional marketing team
Budget Management:
Develop and manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources
Monitor expenses and provide regular financial reports to upper management
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, product management, and other departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives
Collaborate with international marketing teams to share best practices and coordinate global initiatives
To succeed in this Regional Marketing Manager job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with other countries before, across borders and internal matrix.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA is preferred
Proven experience of at least eight years in marketing management, with a focus on regional or international markets
Strong understanding of local and international market dynamics
Exceptional leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus as the candidate is required to work with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute with precision
