About the Brand General Manager (Beauty Retail) Role: Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business operations, driving strategic initiatives, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the company's continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the company's overall business strategies and goals in line with the brand's vision
Identify new market opportunities and trends to drive business growth and increase market share
Analyse store performance metrics and implement improvements to maximise sales and profitability
Set sales targets and KPIs for the retail team, driving them to achieve and exceed sales goals
Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Lead, motivate, and mentor the retail team to deliver exceptional customer service and exceed customer expectations
Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring every customer receives personalised attention and a memorable shopping experience
Address customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction
Work closely with the visual merchandising team to create appealing and on-trend store displays
Ensure that all stores adhere to brand standards and visual guidelines
Collaborate with the inventory team to optimise stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records
Implement effective stock control procedures to reduce stock loss and improve inventory turnover
Develop and manage budgets for retail operations, controlling expenses and maximising profitability
Analyse financial reports and make data-driven decisions to drive business growth
Work with the marketing team to plan and execute retail promotions and events to drive footfall and sales
Leverage social media and digital marketing channels to increase brand visibility
To succeed in this Brand General Manager (Beauty Retail) job, you will need to be a creative and results-driven leader with a strong passion for the beauty industry and a keen eye for trends and customer preferences.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Proven experience (typically eight or more years) in a leadership role within the fashion industry, demonstrating strong business acumen and strategic vision
Extensive knowledge of beauty trends, consumer behaviour, and the competitive landscape
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team
Strong financial acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving business objectives
