An attractive Senior Marketing Manager (Beauty Retail) job has just become available at one of the most respected global beauty firms based in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Brand GM, this is a role for a marketer who is a leader in their field.
About the Senior Marketing Manager (Beauty Retail) Role:
In this business critical role, you will ensure that the business unit has an integrated and effective marketing arm that can support the Company’s aim in building a credible and sustainable brand and that all A&P tools are effective in contributing to the growth of the brand and DCP to meet the organisation business objective.
Key Responsibilities:

Marketing
- Lead the Marketing team in developing, establishing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives
- Strategise, plan and implement annual marketing plan with effective campaigns and initiatives in line with Brand directions and business goals
- Manage marketing budget and expenses that is in line with business objectives and KPIs set
- Liaise with advertising agency and other vendors on ATL and BTL and TTL advertising campaigns to ensure quality and cost effectiveness at all time with ROIs and conversion generation
- Plan (M+3 minimum) and implement effective promotional activities to increase traffic count and support achievement of sales target
- Launch new treatment and products to generate brand and product exposure, incremental sales and create excitement with launching activities and VM support
- Work with Sales Development, Visual Merchandising and Project team in road show/event/new store opening planning and execution
- Work with Education team to ensure training program is effective to alleviate sales team expertise
- Planning of new launch products, effective stock management and ordering to minimise ageing/obsolete stocks
- Plan, develop and execute advertising and promotion strategy to support marketing activities, increase brand visibility and market penetration
- Close working relationship with Mall A&P team and to plan, develop and execute advertisement and promotion strategy to support marketing activities of our stores in the mall
- Source for the best deal in the Mall to expose our brand visibility and promotion activities
- Conduct and execute Networking strategy for tie up and collaboration with other brands to create a win-win strategy for brand exposure and market penetration
- Develop along with Senior GM on CSR initiatives and collaboration with NGO organisation
Media and PR
- Liaise with media agency on media strategy
- PR plan development to maximise opportunities for publicity in all media through targeted editorial pitch plan and maintain professional relationships with media to support achieving the goals outlined in PR plan, including the distribution of targeted media releases, media kits, pitches and other PR related materials
- Launch new treatments/products, media communication, create content for press releases and other launch support POSM at ground level
- Develop closer relationship with local KOLs and bloggers
Visual Merchandising and Graphics
- Oversee the VM and Graphics team
- Uphold the brand's premium image/positioning in the market
- Effective VM and Display strategy implementation on monthly/quarterly new launch and during festive season
- Develop new VM initiatives every quarter
- Maintain & upkeep the AsterSpring image in line with guidelines and CI
CRM
- Oversee CRM team
- Develop CRM initiatives for customer retention and loyalty
- Conduct of market research, consumer survey, competitor data to align the brand with the market expectation
Digital Marketing
- Oversee Digital Marketing and Social Media team
- Strategise, lead and implement digital communications through different digital platforms that is personalised, engaging and relevant content that is coherent with the brand’s strategy and objectives
- Win the digital share of mind through the high level of engagement in the social communities and target audience through clear understanding of the customer’s profiles and behaviours
- Take charge of digital content creation and digital media budget with digital agencies
To succeed in this Senior Marketing Manager (Beauty Retail) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.
