What you'll do:
As Marketing Communication Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be entrusted with shaping how the organisation is perceived both locally and internationally. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with senior leaders to develop cohesive branding strategies that reflect the company’s commitment to engineering excellence and sustainable innovation. - Develop and manage the organisation’s brand architecture to ensure a unified identity across all subsidiaries and business units.
- Oversee all aspects of corporate communications including company profiles, websites, investor decks, brochures, proposals, sales kits, media kits, and press releases.
- Craft strong value propositions tailored for solar energy transition initiatives, engineering projects, infrastructure solutions, and earthing and lightning protection services.
- Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that support sales teams targeting commercial and industrial clients as well as government tenders.
- Support business development efforts by creating pitch decks, case studies, project success stories, and converting technical achievements into market-ready narratives.
- Own the digital presence of the organisation by managing content on websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, industry portals, and other relevant platforms.
- Create high-impact content such as project highlights, videos, thought leadership articles, and sustainability storytelling in collaboration with designers and videographers.
- Manage public relations activities including media relations, interviews, press coverage, crisis communication planning, corporate announcements, and positioning the company as an authoritative voice in its sectors.
- Support investor relations through annual reports, ESG disclosures, sustainability reports, corporate presentations while ensuring clear communication of growth strategies to stakeholders.
- Oversee marketing budgets by tracking campaign effectiveness through KPIs and dashboards while ensuring strong return on investment for all marketing activities.

To excel as Marketing Communication Manager you will bring extensive experience from similar roles within engineering-focused or B2B environments where you have successfully managed complex branding projects across multiple business units. Your background should include hands-on involvement in both traditional corporate communications (such as press releases or investor decks) as well as modern digital content strategies (including social media management). You are known for your ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from different disciplines—whether it’s working alongside engineers on technical case studies or partnering with designers on multimedia campaigns. Your interpersonal skills enable you to build trust quickly among internal stakeholders while your attention to detail ensures every piece of communication meets exacting standards. - A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Journalism or a related field is required along with 8-12 years’ experience in marketing or corporate communications roles within engineering or B2B sectors.
- Proven track record of developing brand architecture for multi-subsidiary organisations operating in technology-driven industries such as energy or infrastructure.
- Exceptional storytelling skills with demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging narratives suitable for diverse audiences including investors and government agencies.
- Strategic thinking combined with commercial awareness enabling you to align messaging with broader business goals while maximising campaign ROI.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships at all levels—from CEOs to engineers—and coordinating input from multiple departments for cohesive communication outcomes.
- Comprehensive understanding of branding principles including logo usage guidelines; tone-of-voice consistency; colour palettes; PR best practices; digital marketing trends; ESG reporting requirements; and sustainability communications.
- Detail-oriented approach ensuring accuracy in high-profile corporate materials such as annual reports or crisis communication plans while maintaining strong discipline around brand standards.
- Comfortable working within fast-growing organisations featuring multiple subsidiaries where adaptability is essential for success.
