Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations and Communication Manager to join their team in Penang.

What you'll do:
As a Public Relations and Communication Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our client's brand presence. You will be responsible for developing innovative PR strategies, managing media relations, creating engaging content, coordinating company events, and preparing crisis communication plans. Your ability to think strategically, coupled with your exceptional writing skills, will enable you to effectively communicate the organisation's vision and values across various platforms.
- Develop and execute PR strategies to build and maintain a positive public image
- Manage media relations, including pitching stories, arranging interviews, and handling press inquiries
- Create compelling content for press releases, media kits, newsletters, and other communication materials
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication within the organisation
- Plan and coordinate company events, press conferences, and media briefings
- Prepare and manage crisis communication plans to address any potential issues that may impact the organisation's reputation

You have a proven track record of developing successful media relations strategies and are adept at creating compelling content. - Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations or communications, experience in Travel and Tourism industry is an added advantage
- Proven track record of successful media relations and communication strategy development
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems
