Our client is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Brand Ambassador to represent their prestigious FMCG brand in the Malaysian market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to become the authority on one of the world's most renowned whisky brands. You will be responsible for conducting whisky tastings, hosting unique brand experiences, and representing the brand at priority media, consumer, and trade events.
What you'll do:
As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of a prestigious FMCG brand in Malaysia. Your role will involve becoming an expert on the brand, conducting tastings, hosting unique experiences, and representing the brand at key events. You will also be responsible for building relationships with influencers and media through your advanced social media skills. Additionally, you will gather insights from HNWIs to develop a well-informed view of the prestige segment.
- Act as Malaysia’s in-market authority on the brand by conducting whisky tastings and hosting unique brand experiences
- Support the planning and execution of experiential events
- Represent the brand at priority media, consumer, and trade events
- Build influencer networks, including collectors and professional groups
- Work with agencies to engage and build relations with relevant media and influencers
- Deliver bespoke education and build elevated brand confidence within priority trade accounts
- Create and demonstrate the brand serves and rituals to priority On-Trade accounts
- Gather insights from high net worth individuals (HNWIs) and relevant information from the luxury consumer goods or ultra-premium spirits sector
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Brand Ambassador role is someone who has experience working with luxury brands and their clientele. You should have strong connections within the Influencer community and possess advanced social media skills. Your expertise in category, brand, and portfolio strategy will be crucial in this role. Experience interacting with high net worth individuals is also essential. Furthermore, leadership and mentoring/training skills are highly desirable.
