About the Senior Marketing Communication Manager (Fashion Retail) Role:
In this role, you will also take the lead providing direction to all marketing-related activities, including brand strategy management, digital marketing, events management and visual merchandising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the brand, digital and PR strategies, plan and implement creative, effective tactics that differentiate the brands from the competition and align with the overarching marketing communications strategy
- Execute the communication strategy by leveraging key media, digital, social, and internal communication channels per the company’s corporate objectives and strategy to reach diverse audiences: employees, media, community partners, and influencers
- Develop creative visual merchandising strategy that contributes to and is consistent with brand identity and business objectives, elevating the brand through retail concepts
- Manage forecasting, investment and reconciliation of brand budgets and be responsible for the marketing calendar planner, media plan
- Lead the team on daily executions and campaign deliveries, to help leverage and optimise the brand's websites, SEO/SEM, digital advertising, social media channels and other digital marketing tactics
- Strategise and implement campaigns leveraging both traditional (collateral, print advertising, direct mail, etc.) and digital (social media, digital advertising, websites, email, etc.)
- Oversee and steer PR and content strategy to generate compelling, engaging content to support content-driven integrated strategy on socials, editorial, EDM and internal and external communications. Identify the most effective communication channels to reach relevant target groups and help to feed these channels with the appropriate messaging
- Be a brand ambassador in all external partner relations, nurturing existing and building new relationships with partners deliver new opportunities, establishing a strong reputation amongst our local industry contacts
- Ensure each of the brands' voice is consistent, distinct and optimised across all activities (external and internal) and be both the advocate and authority for brand messaging
- Demonstrate the creative energy and flair to bring campaigns to life across the full-range of brand touch points, underpinned by a passion for the never-been-done before and for finding opportunities to create global initiatives with originality - with the intention of bringing brands to life for the local audiences in the most compelling way
- Think creatively about ways to extend the reach of brand campaigns and activities across all touch points, seamlessly integrating acquisition and retention tactics into seasonal plans and with an imaginative and innovative approach to third-party partnerships
To succeed in this Senior Marketing Communication Manager (Fashion Retail) role you must have strong business acumen and possess a keen understanding of marketing in the retail industry.
Key Requirements:
- At least eight years of experience in Strategic Marketing, e-Commerce and Digital Marketing preferably in fashion/cosmetic/luxury industry with both a global and commercial mindset
- Degree in Marketing/Business Administration or a related field
- Experience in managing big marketing budgets annually
- Agile and able to work with multiple campaign projects and meet deadlines
- Good leadership and has managed a team of about five or more people
- Ability to converse and communicate with China counterparts
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Experienced in doing media and pop-up events
- Good stakeholder management and networking connections
- Skills in Marketing Planning, Media Planning, Digital Marketing, Branding, Corporate Communication and Social Media is an advantage
