Corporate Communications Senior Manager

A corporation is seeking a talented Corporate Communications Senior Manager. In this job, you will join the team and drive their communication strategies.

About the Corporate Communications Senior Manager Role:
In this role, you will be responsible to lead a team of support staff in corporate communications towards achieving the company’s branding and communications objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the promotion of corporate business news, releases of periodical/annual financial press releases including the preparation of all press release kits and communication packs for media and investors
• Oversee the development and production of marketing and branding materials such as calendars, greeting cards, annual reports, effective management of suppliers and vendors
• Direct/review the efforts of the corporate communications staff
• Maintain close communication and relations with the media via press conferences, interviews, media briefings, etc. to enhance the image of the company
• Develop, implement, and manage the communication plans and handling of corporate crisis communications
• Implement communications as well as corporate and corporate social responsibility events/programmes
• Implement all policies, activities, procedures as relevant and required by the property development system

To succeed in this Corporate Communications Senior Manager role, you must have strong senior level communications experience with key focus on PR/media relations, crisis communications and corporate branding.

Key Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, mass communications, or other related qualifications
• At least 10 years of experience in corporate communications or any relevant line, with strong focus on media relations and prior experience in corporate organisations
• Written and verbal proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Literacy in Mandarin is an added advantage as the candidate is required to work with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Positive, mature personality with good interpersonal skills and adaptability qualities, able to sustain in a dynamic, fast-paced organisation
