The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, sales-focused, and skilled in evaluating the commercial impact of trade activities to ensure tangible business outcomes. You will play a key role in working closely with dealers and sales teams to implement initiatives that not only build brand visibility but also generate measurable returns.

What you'll do:

As a Trade Marketing Manager (Building Materials), you will be responsible for driving sales-focused trade initiatives. Your role will involve planning and executing targeted trade campaigns, product launches, and dealer programs designed to increase sales volume, market share, and customer engagement. You will continuously assess the financial effectiveness of these initiatives, ensuring they deliver positive returns. Your ability to prepare clear business justifications for proposed activities will be crucial. Working closely with the local sales force and dealer networks, you'll identify business opportunities that drive revenue and enhance customer loyalty.

  • Drive sales-focused trade initiatives by planning and executing targeted trade campaigns, product launches, and dealer programs.
  • Continuously assess the financial effectiveness and commercial outcomes of trade marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare clear business justifications for proposed activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and detailed post-activity analysis.
  • Work in close partnership with the local sales force and dealer networks to identify business opportunities.
  • Support the category growth strategy by implementing effective trade plans.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive activities to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing, technical, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives.

What you bring:

As a Trade Marketing Manager (Building Materials), you bring a wealth of experience from your previous roles in Trade Marketing or Sales within FMCG or similar industries. Your proven ability to develop and implement trade strategies that drive revenue growth sets you apart from others. You possess strong analytical skills which enable you to evaluate program effectiveness efficiently. Your excellent communication skills allow you to present complex ideas clearly and manage stakeholders effectively. You are results-oriented, accountable, and commercially savvy, with a knack for identifying business opportunities.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Trade Marketing or Sales-related roles within FMCG, Tires, Lubricants, Tobacco / Alcohol or other related industries.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement trade strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in evaluating program effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Commercially savvy with an eye for identifying business opportunities.
  • Organised approach with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects.
