An exciting e-Commerce Manager (FMCG) job has just become available at one of the most respected global FMCG firms based in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Director, this is a role for an e-commerce manager who is a leader in their field.
About the e-Commerce Manager (FMCG) Role: In this business critical role, you will achieve the company’s sales, marketing and profit objectives in e-commerce channel through the development and execution of sales, marketing and business plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the achievement of e-commerce sales, distribution, stock keeping unit (SKU) offered and activities
Develop annual business plans for online business; deploy, lead and manage execution of the approved annual business plan
Engage with all types of online store business (Lazada/Shopee Flagship Store, Grab/Jaya Grocer, Astro Go, Big Pharmacy Home Delivery, etc.) and increase online market share
Plan for monthly social content and promotional calendar
Manage A&P budgets and ensure the promotional budgets are efficiently and prudently spent
Work closely with Marketing team to ensure a clear understanding of the marketing objectives, online store assortment planning and new product development direction, to further develop the business and execution of trade plans
Support the team with online activities (such FB Live) and cross-channel activities
Responsible for daily online sales operations, including new item/campaign setup, logistic management, product page design, online content creation, etc.
Conduct monthly performance review and analysis to discover new trends/ technologies/ activities to improve the online channels performances
Speed up the company's existing online business platform & marketplace to drive profitable and sustainable growth
To succeed in the e-Commerce Manager (FMCG) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Business Studies, marketing or related disciplines
Minimum of eight years' experience in FMCG sales and marketing, preferably from leading MNC or distributor environment handling MNC principle. With at least three years’ experience in e-commerce
Experience in e-distributor management
Aggressive, result oriented and with high personal drive to succeed
Strong people, negotiation and analysis skills, able to deal effectively with distributors and to execute the sales/marketing plans
Converse well in English. Ability to converse in Mandarin or Cantonese is an added advantage
