What you'll do:

As a Partner – Corporate and Capital Markets, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of the firm’s practice.

• Lead and advise on capital markets transactions, including IPOs and listings across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and governance requirements.
• Act on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, privatisations, and other corporate exercises, including structuring, negotiating, and executing transaction documentation.
• Oversee and conduct legal due diligence exercises while providing strategic risk assessment and mitigation advice throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Provide ongoing corporate advisory services to public listed companies and private entities on regulatory compliance, disclosure obligations, and corporate governance matters.
• Lead and mentor team members, manage client relationships, and contribute to practice growth through business development and thought leadership initiatives.

What you bring:

You will bring a wealth of experience in corporate and capital markets law.

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law and capital markets practice, including exposure to multi-jurisdictional transactions.

• Proven experience advising on capital markets transactions, including public listings and fund-raising exercises.
• Strong background in mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, takeovers, and other corporate restructuring exercises.
• Sound knowledge of listing rules, securities regulations, and general corporate governance requirements.
• Experience advising clients on cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional regulatory matters.
