Legal Associate (Corporate M&A)

Our client is looking for a highly motivated Legal Associate specializing in Corporate M&A. What you'll do:

As a Legal Associate, you will play a key role in:

• Drafting, reviewing, and advising on corporate and commercial agreements/contracts.
• Participating in contract negotiations and other transactions.
• Conducting due diligence and preparing comprehensive due diligence reports.
• Drafting transaction documents and ensuring legal compliance.
• Conducting legal research and assisting in providing strategic legal advice to clients.
• Involved in high-impact corporate transactions, including cross-border deals.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Legal Associate position brings confidence and dedication to legal practice. Key requirements include:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a reputable university.
• Admission to the Malaysian Bar.
• 1 to 2 years of post-admission experience, with a strong focus on corporate and M&A work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
