An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Company Secretary to play a pivotal role in a leading SEA household food & beverages brand.

This role offers the following exciting opportunities:

  • Key role in an growing organization and work closely with senior management, the board, and stakeholders, providing invaluable advice and guidance
  • Opportunity to advise on secretarial and corporate governance matters
  • Focus on team collaboration and strong communication, this role offers the chance to lead, coach, and inspire subordinates while co-managing various projects.

What you'll do:

As a Company Secretary, you will be at the heart of our client's operations. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised daily as you liaise with senior management, advising them on crucial secretarial and corporate governance matters.

The primary responsibilities are:

  • Liaise with senior management, the board, and stakeholders to advise on secretarial and corporate governance matters.
  • Prepare/Review all corporate secretarial documents related to the Group.
  • Organise board meetings, Annual General Meeting (AGM) / Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM), and draft the respective minutes.
  • Provide guidance to operating units, other Departments, and divisional company secretaries in the Group.
  • Review Board papers for approval of the Board and Board Committees.
  • Lead and coach subordinates to ensure effectiveness in task delivery.
  • Co-manage projects such as restructuring, acquisitions, disposals takeovers, listings, investigations, liquidations.

What you bring:

As an ideal candidate for the Company Secretary position, you bring a wealth of experience from your 10-15 years in company secretarial roles and able to hold accountability as the joint-named company secretary.

You must also possess the following:

  • Qualified ICSA / MAICSA with minimum 10-15 years of relevant working experience in company secretarial roles.
  • Experience managing secretarial function in public listed entities.
  • Dynamic personality with emotional intelligence and maturity.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels and be a team player.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience supervising/managing a team.
