Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Legal Counsel to work with an international legal team for a global manufacturing business with headquarters in Denmark.
This role offers the following exciting opportunities:

- Work with a diverse range of stakeholders and contribute to the development of internal policies and procedures.
What you'll do:
As a Regional Legal Counsel, you will be the go-to legal expert for our client's operations across Asia. Your work will consist primarily of classical legal work, handling contracts on marketing, sales, procurement, HR matters, disputes, management of external law firms and more. You will also be handling compliance activities within competition law, contract management, data privacy, anti-bribery, code of conduct, trademarks etc.
- Provide legal advice and support
- Prioritize tasks and ensure execution in accordance with set priorities
- Support stakeholders in determining priorities from the perspective of associated legal risks
- Help business to remain in compliance with regulatory standards and protect their assets and property
- Own, manage and support the workflow of standard corporate agreements and other documentation
- Support internal governance, policy and process implementation and compliance audit projects as required by law or internal regulations
- Perform regular reviews and provide reports on key legal risks and issues related to the supported legal entities
- Manage the cooperation with external law firms, ensuring timeliness and quality of service while managing spend and long-term budgets
What you bring:
As a Regional Legal Counsel for operations across Asia, you bring a wealth of experience from either a strong global exposure at work in private practice or in-house.
The primary responsibilities are:
- Minimum 5 years prior experience in-house or a globally oriented legal firm.
- Bachelor of Laws degree from an accredited law school.
- Possess CLP/admitted to the Bar in the jurisdiction relevant to the company's operations.
- Experience as an in-house legal counsel is preferred.
- Demonstrate knowledge of adaptation of the law within the cultural and legal framework of Asia.
- Worked with general contract law and compliance.
- Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
