Legal Counsel

A global company in medical services is looking for a Legal Counsel as part of the team’s expansion to support SEA regional legal initiatives.

The successful Legal Counsel will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal impact.

What you'll do:

As a Legal Counsel, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this organisation.

The primary responsibilities are:

• Act as commercial counsel with a focus on the legal aspects on a wide variety of commercial contracts for the business.
• Advise, manage and review tenders, bids and contract pricing.
• Verify compliance with industry regulations, procurement laws, and company policies.
• Act as a key player during contract negotiations and advise on legal risks.
• Provide pragmatic advice and support to relevant functions, locally and globally through strong and committed engagement with different stakeholders.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Legal Counsel role brings a wealth of experience in commercial law, regulatory compliance and experience in managing international stakeholders. With excellent written and spoken communication skills, you are comfortable communicating complex legal issues in a straightforward manner.

You would possess the following:

• Qualified lawyer between 4 - 5 years PQE.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; exposure to Bahasa Indonesia can be expected.
