Deals & Contract Manager

A renowned multinational corporation is currently seeking a Deals & Contract Manager to join its contract management team to be based in Shah Alam, Malaysia. In this job, you will report to the Head of Commercial Management and Business Planning in Japan.

About the Deals & Contract Manager Role:
This Deals & Contract Manager will be responsible for bidding, negotiating, drafting, and concluding contracts with the key accounts of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting, reviewing, vetting of various contracts with the key clients of the company
• Managing the analysis and decision-making processes of all commercial contracts with key clients of the company including business terms, identification of risks and performing opportunity review and analysis
• Leading, managing contract negotiations up to conclusion of the contracts including integration of products and services, particularly for global contracts
• Providing draft contract and commercial input for tenders and supporting the bid and pricing team in delivery of tender responses

To succeed in this role, you should have strong contract management and negotiations experience with good business acumen and experience working regionally.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws, LL.B from Commonwealth jurisdiction with no less than five years of experience
• Strong contract drafting and direct negotiations experience, particularly in dealing with customers for global contracts
• Experience working in a regional role, in an MNC, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong stakeholder management experience and excellent organisation and multitasking skills
• Strong command of the English language, be it written and/or verbal
