About the Legal Counsel (Investment Banking) Role:

In this business critical role, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality of legal service. You will also play a vital role in providing the direction for all things legal-related, including drafting agreements, providing advice and ensuring all related matters comply with the legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Render legal support for brokerage business
• Manage arising disputes under various agreements
• Provide advisory and negotiation services on all contractual and operational support matters
• Monitor laws, rules and regulations governing the Bank’s operations
• Provide legal support to countries in the region such as Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand

To succeed in this role, you should possess a minimum of five years' experience in a related field.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in law and a qualified advocate and solicitor
• Experience in debt capital markets/corporate finance related work will be viewed favorably
• Possess good communication skills, in both English and Malay
• Highly organisational, independent and critical
