Recruiter - RPO Banking (6 Months Contract)
A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a dedicated Recruiter for a six-month contract to support their ongoing hiring activities in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers you the chance to work within a highly respected banking environment, focusing on candidate sourcing, screening, and coordination for both local and regional positions.
Job Description :
- Source and identify suitable candidates using platforms such as JobStreet, LinkedIn, and internal databases to ensure a robust talent pipeline for various banking roles.
- Build and manage candidate pipelines through targeted searches, maintaining strong relationships with potential hires throughout the recruitment process.
- Screen resumes meticulously and conduct initial candidate assessments to match applicants with appropriate corporate and executive-level positions.
- Prepare comprehensive candidate profiles and longlists for submission to hiring managers, ensuring all documentation meets organisational standards.
- Coordinate interviews efficiently by liaising between candidates and internal stakeholders, managing communications with professionalism and sensitivity.
- Support hiring activities primarily in Malaysia while also providing additional assistance for roles based in Taiwan as required by business needs.
- Maintain accurate recruitment tracking and reporting systems to ensure transparency and compliance throughout the hiring process.
- Collaborate closely with internal RPO stakeholders to meet agreed-upon hiring timelines, fostering a cooperative approach to achieving recruitment goals.
- Provide administrative support for senior leadership roles within banking and corporate functions, contributing to the smooth operation of the wider team.
Skillset & Experience :
- Minimum five years of experience in recruitment, RPO environments, or in-house talent acquisition teams within regulated industries such as banking or financial services.
- Proven ability to source candidates using JobStreet, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms with a focus on building dependable talent pipelines.
- Demonstrated skill in screening resumes and conducting initial assessments to identify candidates who align with specific job requirements.
- Comfortable working independently within a structured RPO setup while maintaining open communication with team members.
- Experience supporting hiring activities for corporate functions, executive-level support roles, or administrative positions within large organisations.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records of recruitment activity using tracking tools or reporting systems.
- Ability to read and speak Mandarin is preferred to facilitate support for Taiwan-based hiring assignments.
- Open-mindedness towards short-term contract assignments with a willingness to adapt quickly to new processes or requirements.
