What you'll do:
As a Talent Acquisition Manager based in Kuala Lumpur, you will play an instrumental role in driving the full spectrum of recruitment activities for a prominent automotive organisation.
- Plan, guide, and support the recruitment team to achieve departmental key performance indicators while ensuring all hiring activities meet agreed service level agreements.
- Manage and oversee the entire recruitment process from initial sourcing through to onboarding, ensuring that all company hiring requirements are fulfilled efficiently.
- Work closely with department heads across various functions to review current and future recruitment needs, supporting effective manpower planning and accurate headcount forecasting.
- Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive recruitment strategies, programmes, and policies designed to attract and retain top-tier talent within the automotive sector.
- Lead proactive sourcing efforts using multiple channels such as job portals, social media platforms, talent databases, and professional networking events to build robust candidate pipelines.
- Monitor key recruitment performance metrics regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Take ownership of special recruitment projects including campus hiring campaigns and targeted hiring drives, fostering strong partnerships with universities and colleges throughout Malaysia.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior recruiters within the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and mutual support.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and talent acquisition strategies, contributing positively to organisational growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to maintain a competitive edge in attracting high-quality candidates.
