As a Recruitment Consultant, you will act as an intermediary between organisations (clients) looking to recruit and professionals (candidates) seeking a career change. The objective of the consultant is to meet the needs of both the employer and the candidate to ensure the best mutual fit. This is more than just a case of skills matching. It is important to have a strong understanding of the client's business, their organisation culture as well as the professional ambitions of the candidate, ensuring these are all aligned.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads through business development calls
  • Arrange and attend meetings with prospective clients and keeping in regular contact to build positive, productive and long-term corporate relationships
  • Service, nurture and develop existing client relationships
  • Develop and provide consultation to a large network of candidates with both immediate and long-term career needs
  • Screen and match candidates to appropriate positions
  • Coordinate the interview process and manage salary negotiations with clients on remuneration package

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of professional working experience in the supply chain or engineering industry preferred
  • Prior recruiting experience in engineering or supply chain is desirable
  • Good business and commercial acumen
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholders management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with a desire to succeed and value-add to client and business stakeholders
  • Adopt a consultative, entrepreneurial and driven approach with excellent attention to detail
