Our Retail client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager, Operations to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee and refine recruitment procedures, manage onboarding processes, and ensure legal compliance across all HR practices. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining accurate employee records, supporting the HR team in handling employee relations issues, and coordinating employee engagement activities.

What you'll do:

As an HR Manager, Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's workforce. You will be responsible for overseeing the staffing of the organisation, managing the onboarding process, and evaluating the talent market to recommend optimal sourcing platforms. Your role will also involve reviewing and updating employment contracts and other HR-related documentation to ensure they are in line with legal requirements. Additionally, you will assist in managing records related to labour law compliance and conduct regular reconciliations to ensure data accuracy. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a deep understanding of HR operations.

  • Oversee staffing of the organisation; facilitate the completion of the recruitment and selection process.
  • Manage the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate the talent market and recommend optimal sourcing platforms based on hiring needs and industry trends.
  • Review and update employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Assist in managing and maintaining records related to labour law compliance.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure data accuracy in both payroll systems and Group HR database.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this HR Manager, Operations position brings a wealth of experience in Human Resources Operations along with a strong understanding of local labour laws and HR compliance requirements. You have excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to engage stakeholders at all levels effectively. Your proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu enables you to communicate clearly across diverse teams. With your ability to work according to deadlines, manage various demands, demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, you are well-equipped for this role.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Human Resources Operations.
  • Strong understanding of local labour laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage stakeholders of all levels.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu.
  • Ability to work according to deadlines, manage various demands, demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail.
