What you'll do:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, your role will be integral in shaping the future of our client's workforce. You will be responsible for managing the recruitment activities specific to their high-volume manufacturing facility. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with local talent pools, utilising strategies to attract and retain top talent. Your commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experience will be evident throughout the entire recruitment process. Your knowledge of employment laws and regulations will ensure that all processes align with legal requirements. Your ability to provide insightful market data will help shape growth-oriented discussions.
- Manage recruitment activities for production and operational roles
- Ensure a steady pipeline of skilled workers
- Work closely with site managers and operational leaders to understand job requirements
- Source candidates using various methods to ensure a diverse candidate pool
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact to offer stages
- Stay informed about employment laws and regulations
- Provide insightful market data to influence discussions
- Organize post-interview debrief sessions with interview teams and candidates
- Negotiate offers and close candidates within appropriate compensation ranges
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in recruitment
What you bring:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you bring a wealth of experience in talent acquisition sourcing, particularly within manufacturing recruitment. Your excellent communication skills allow you to engage effectively with passive operations candidates and networks. Your proficiency in interviewing techniques enables you to accurately assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit. Your exceptional market research skills aid you in maintaining a diverse candidate pool. Your familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) assists you in managing candidate pipelines efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- 4+ years of demonstrated talent acquisition sourcing experience
- Experience as a recruiter in manufacturing recruitment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit
- Exceptional market research and sourcing skills
- Experience using an ATS and LinkedIn
- Proficient in providing administrative support throughout the recruitment process
