An exciting Special Officer job has opened up at a top bank that is famous for their advanced financial products and services.
About the Special Officer Role:
This role serves a critical function in a business by assisting key chief executives and partnering with business leaders on rolling out the day-to-day initiatives of the bank. You will work closely with and assist the Group Managing Director by providing support that includes preparation of meeting materials, preparation of MD for speaking engagements, coordination of all MD’s public appearances and content preparation with internal and external stakeholders, data analysis where required, writing support, research, coordination, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, public relations, and all administrative tasks and all related works to ascertain the smooth running of an organisation and the productivity of the Group Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate tasks and projects with internal and external stakeholders through the involvement of a wide variety of events/meetings/press interviews/charitable events and other professional activities
- Act as a point of contact between the Managing Director and department heads when necessary
- Create and maintain a favourable public image of the company bu assisting the MD in communicating initiatives, accomplishments, and point of view
- Represent the company together with the MD in attending business and social events
- Be involved in key project research and development prospects and creating keynote speeches for the MD
- Assist in generating reports, collection and assimilation of data and monitor project performance
- Provide support in ad hoc events, and activities as and when required
To succeed in this Special Officer role, you will need to have great prioritisation skills, strong engagement level and ability to think on your feet.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to draft high quality written materials and correspondence
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to be adaptable to dynamic needs
- High attention to detail and great organisation and project management skills
- Creative, forward-thinking and have a zeal for visual designs and art direction
- Fundamental photography, editing and graphic design skills
- Passionate about organisational growth. Trustworthy and able to keep sensitive and confidential information
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Database management
