An exciting Talent Acquisition Manager job has just become available at a global FMCG company based in Kuala Lumpur.
About the Talent Acquisition Manager Role:
Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process to deliver agreed targets for roles within assigned business areas, with the objective of ensuring that the right candidates are recruited, at the right time, within the values, cost and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver innovative sourcing strategies and solutions to meet business growth needs and generate diverse pools of applicants
- Proactively search for, identify, network with and directly contact active and passive job seekers, both internally and externally, for hard-to-hire, evergreen and specific vacancies, sourcing the very best candidates using a variety of channels
- Responsible for the full life cycle recruitment process including initial CV screening and first stage telephone interviews with shortlisted candidates
- Manage hiring manager's expectations and conduct effective job profiling brief sessions with hiring managers to fully understand requirements for the vacancy
- Conduct preliminary assessments, as required, assessing candidates’ talents, fit and readiness, setting realistic role expectations
- Prepare reports and statistics regarding recruitment and gather market intelligence
To succeed in this Talent Acquisition Manager role, you must have strong stakeholder relationship and recruitment experience being in-house or in an agency, preferably from the FMCG industry.
Key requirements:
- Degree in any business discipline
- At least five years of work experience in sourcing and recruitment
- Proven success in use of social media and job portals to drive company branding and develop candidate pipelines
- Good knowledge of the marketplace, competitors and best practices; data-driven approach towards recruitment is a competitive advantage
- Ability to work in a fast paced working environment and take up high volume of job requisitions at one time
