What you'll do:
As a Human Resources Business Partner based in Selangor supporting the APAC region, you will play an integral role in shaping the employee journey from onboarding through ongoing development.
- Partner with software and staff leaders across APAC to understand workforce requirements and deliver tailored HR support that aligns with strategic objectives.
- Support organisational design updates by collaborating with stakeholders to optimise structures for efficiency and growth.
- Facilitate workforce planning activities and talent management processes to ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
- Provide first-line coaching and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters to managers and employees.
- Utilise HR data and analytics to inform discussions, improve employee experience, and drive performance enhancements across teams.
- Manage APAC salary review cycles, bonus programmes, benefits administration, and contribute to global rewards projects for consistent recognition practices.
- Ensure compensation and benefits processes comply with local regulations as well as internal company standards for fairness and transparency.
- Track, process, and report compensation changes accurately while maintaining timely communication with relevant stakeholders.
- Validate payroll and rewards-related data to guarantee accuracy, compliance, audit readiness, and alignment with company expectations.
- Coordinate market benchmarking activities and maintain vendor relationships for effective benefits provision across multiple countries.
What you bring:
Your proven experience as a Human Resources Business Partner will be instrumental in driving success within this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field demonstrating foundational knowledge of HR principles.
- At least 5 years of experience in HR operations or as an HR business partner supporting multiple APAC countries which showcases your regional expertise.
- Comprehensive understanding of APAC labour laws, compliance frameworks such as SOX requirements ensuring adherence to legal standards.
- Proficiency with HR systems like Workday along with familiarity in payroll or compensation systems for seamless data management.
- Ability to validate payroll and compensation & benefits data guaranteeing accuracy, compliance, confidentiality, and audit readiness at all times.
- Strong analytical skills enabling you to interpret complex HR data sets and provide meaningful insights for informed decision-making.
- Solid grasp of compensation & benefits processes including salary reviews, bonus cycles which supports fair reward practices.
- Exceptional communication skills paired with coaching capabilities allowing you to guide managers effectively through various HR scenarios.
- Close attention to detail coupled with a commitment to maintaining high standards of data accuracy throughout all HR operations.
- Proven track record in leading process improvements within HR functions while supporting change initiatives collaboratively across regions.
