Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobility Manager to join their dynamic team in Penang.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage, coordinate, and execute people mobility services in a global setting. The successful candidate will have the chance to collaborate with local and global teams, advise business stakeholders, and ensure a smooth employee experience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a diverse environment and has a positive mindset.

What you'll do:

As a Mobility Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating people mobility services. You will work closely with both local and global teams to handle new foreign hire processes. Your excellent communication skills will be essential as you advise business stakeholders on policy applications. You will also manage pre-boarding, onboarding, travel and repatriation arrangements. Ensuring proper documentation according to compliance requirements will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will conduct assignment briefings with employees and track the status of mobility cases.

  • Manage, coordinate, and execute people mobility services such as transfers, assignments, secondments, local foreign hires, relocations, and contract renewals.
  • Collaborate with local and global teams to handle new foreign hire processes.
  • Advise business stakeholders on the correct application of policies.
  • Manage pre-boarding, onboarding, travel and repatriation arrangements.
  • Ensure proper documentation according to compliance requirements.
  • Conduct assignment briefings with employees.
  • Track and update the status of mobility cases.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Mobility Manager position brings a wealth of experience in mobility or expatriates management. With at least 5 years of experience under your belt, you are fluent in English both written and verbal. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills enable you to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. A positive mindset and can-do attitude are key traits that you possess. While not required, certification in GMS (Global Mobility Specialist) is preferred along with experience in international or global mobility companies.

  • Bachelor's Degree with relevant working experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Mobility/ Expatriates management.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Positive mindset and can-do attitude.
  • Certification in GMS (Global Mobility Specialist) is preferred.
  • Experience in international/ global mobility companies is preferred.
