Our client is seeking a Director of People & Experience to lead their HR team in delivering the company's people strategy across various functions. This role will provide people advisory to senior management and contribute actively to the overall road map on people initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with teams, managers, and key stakeholders to build organisation and people capability by shaping and implementing effective people strategies within the organisation.
What you'll do:
As a Director of People & Experience, you will be at the forefront of delivering the company's People strategy across various functions such as HRBP, Talent Acquisition, Performance & Rewards, and HR Operations. You will be responsible for working collaboratively with HR Transformation on 'Fit for Growth' Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) to make the organisation future ready. Your role will also involve leading the development team of People Experience and ensuring the deliverables of key HR functions. You will establish and manage effective relationships with HR and key business stakeholders while partnering with subject matter experts from functional HR in driving the people agenda and strategic initiative.
- Work collaboratively with HR Transformation on 'Fit for Growth' Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) to make the organisation future ready.
- Responsible for achieving milestones on the defined plan in filling new and key critical roles.
- Lead the development team of People Experience and ensure the deliverables of key HR functions – Performance and Rewards, Recruitment, HR Operations and Talent Acquisition.
- Establish and manage effective relationships with HR and key business stakeholders.
- Partner with subject matter experts from functional HR in driving the people agenda and strategic initiative.
- Manage escalations in any functions on operational issues of a sensitive nature.
- Define and organise the structure to support organisation to allocate resources in the right places to improve efficiency and increase productivity.
- Strategize Employee Engagement initiatives to support business on annual employee engagement survey and action planning with business.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Director of People & Experience role should hold a Professional Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in any field, preferably in Business Management or Human Resources. Your excellent analytical, presentation, communication and consultation skills will be crucial in this role. Strong interpersonal skills are required for developing and managing relationships effectively. The ability to execute tasks independently with a strong attention to detail and deadlines is essential. Good project management skills with past successful experience in handling critical / complex projects will be beneficial. You should also have the ability to manage multiple tasks, efficiently prioritize projects and embrace new challenges.
- Professional Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in any field. Preferably in Business Management, Human Resources.
- At least 15 years of working experience in the Human Resources field.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, communication and consultation skill
- Strong interpersonal skills – effective in developing and managing relationships
- Ability to execute tasks independently with a strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Good project management skills with past successful experience in handling critical / complex projects
