About the Group Head, HR role:
Given its extensive footprint in Asia and in key cities worldwide, a multinational hospitality company with exciting career prospects and opportunities in hospitality, F&B, real estate, technology, marketing, design, business development, project management, and many other areas is now seeking a high-calibre Group Head, HR to join their fast-expanding team. This established Group is in search of energetic, vibrant and multi-skilled individuals who are able to meet the ever-changing challenges and contribute towards the growth of the Group. Reporting to the GM, you are responsible to provide guidance and support for the accomplishment of department goals and objectives, by recruiting, developing, motivating and maintaining a highly competent workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate leadership competencies and values, be the role model for the team
• Align management style, working practices and conduct with the Group’s operating standards and policies
• Ensure operations efficiency of the department, including but not limited to recruitment, learning and talent development, compensation and benefits, colleagues’ engagement, performance management and other related functions
• Manage industry relations on a proactive and constructive basis
• Drive recruitment according to business needs
• Oversee the training and development plan according to business inputs
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Employment Act 1955 and Industrial Relations Act 1967

To succeed in this role, you would need to have at least 15 years of experience in a similar position or capacity. Candidates who have worked in multinational hospitality companies will be viewed favourably.

Key Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Human Resources or related fields
• Fluent and able communicate and write in English as well as local languages
• Strong leadership and good interpersonal skills
• Great organisational skills, planning, strategy thinking, conceptualising skills and ability
• Excellent knowledge of the local market, local labour laws and extensive experience in industrial relations
