What you'll do:

As Group Lead of Talent Management, you will be entrusted with shaping the organisation’s approach to attracting, developing, retaining, and mobilising top talent. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working collaboratively with HR colleagues and senior business leaders to understand evolving organisational needs.

  • Build meaningful relationships across multiple business units by engaging with HR partners and senior stakeholders to identify talent needs aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on market trends in talent management, providing insights that inform the development of forward-thinking frameworks and solutions.
  • Implement robust talent assessment methodologies to ensure effective placement of internal and external candidates into key leadership roles across the group.
  • Lead the end-to-end process for talent reviews and succession planning by collaborating with stakeholders on identification, assessment, calibration, and development activities.
  • Partner with business leaders to define workforce learning needs and deliver tailored programmes that address both immediate gaps and future capability requirements.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive learning and development frameworks that uplift capabilities across diverse business contexts within the group.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure clear understanding and successful execution of all talent initiatives among leaders, teams, and employees at every level.
  • Deploy change management strategies that prepare leaders and teams for transformation while monitoring progress through pre- and post-change evaluations.
  • Manage succession pipelines by facilitating governance forums that drive accountability for leadership actions related to talent progression.
  • Broker cross-functional talent mobility opportunities to broaden exposure for high-potential individuals through impactful learning interventions.

What you bring:

Your extensive background in talent management equips you with the insight needed to navigate complex organisational structures while remaining sensitive to individual needs.

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required; specialisation in Organisation Behaviour, Organisation Development or Human Resources Development is preferred for this role.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in talent management or organisational development within progressive organisations known for their people-centric focus.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing comprehensive frameworks covering assessment, selection, development, succession planning, and capability building for leaders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated expertise in programme design, project management, facilitation of workshops or training sessions, as well as leveraging data analytics to evaluate outcomes.
  • Consulting skills that allow you to understand complex organisational dynamics while delivering practical solutions that address real-world challenges.
  • Deep understanding of human behaviour principles as they relate to driving successful change management processes within large organisations.
  • Familiarity with diverse change management methodologies that support smooth transitions during periods of transformation or growth.
