An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager, Talent Management to join an established organisation based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll do:

As Senior Manager, Talent Management, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the organisation’s approach to people development. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with various teams to design innovative strategies that identify emerging leaders, nurture their growth through tailored programmes, and ensure they are ready to step into key positions when needed. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to embed these practices into every facet of workforce planning.

  • Provide strategic direction, coaching, and performance oversight to both the Talent Management and Training teams, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Design comprehensive frameworks for identifying, developing, and retaining top talent across all levels of the organisation.
  • Drive robust succession planning processes by conducting competency gap analyses and creating targeted development plans for critical roles.
  • Develop and oversee leadership development programmes, mentoring schemes, and coaching initiatives aimed at accelerating the readiness of high-potential employees.
  • Partner with senior management and HR Business Partners to integrate talent management practices into broader workforce planning efforts.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of scalable, data-driven learning programmes that support organisational goals and employee growth.
  • Lead thorough training needs assessments to ensure learning content remains relevant, impactful, and continuously improved based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • Manage the full performance management cycle including KPI setting, performance reviews, and 360-degree feedback processes to foster a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of all talent and learning initiatives by providing data-driven insights and making strategic recommendations for ongoing enhancement.
  • Efficiently manage departmental budgets while fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance programme delivery.

What you bring:

To excel, you will bring extensive experience from similar roles where you have successfully shaped talent pipelines within large organisations.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Organisational Development or a related field is required for this position.
  • At least ten years of progressive experience in human resources with a minimum of five years focused on talent management or organisational development is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and executing effective succession planning strategies as well as leadership development initiatives is highly valued.
  • Experience overseeing performance management cycles including KPI setting, reviews, and feedback processes is advantageous.
  • A track record of developing scalable learning programmes aligned with organisational objectives demonstrates your commitment to employee growth.
