Our client is seeking a seasoned Director of Human Resources to join their team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional with a passion for people and culture. Reporting directly to the Group CHRO with functional reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing culture change, organisation design, recruitment, talent retention, performance management and supporting business growth. Your expertise in developing comprehensive hiring and retention strategies, enhancing employer branding, driving employee engagement and overseeing payroll processing will be crucial in this role.

What you'll do:

As the Director of HR, your primary responsibility will be to manage culture change within the organisation. You will play a pivotal role in designing the organisation structure, spearheading recruitment efforts, nurturing talent, ensuring performance management, and supporting business growth. Your ability to develop comprehensive hiring strategies will be key in attracting top talent. Furthermore, your role will involve enhancing the employer brand, driving initiatives for leadership development, designing performance measurement frameworks, fostering employee engagement, and overseeing payroll processing.

You have a proven track record of implementing long-term strategic plans that support significant business growth. Your hands-on experience in providing operational HR support coupled with strategic planning sets you apart. You possess strong stakeholder management skills along with excellent written and verbal English communication abilities. Your people management skills are exceptional, as are your coaching and mentoring abilities. Lastly, your experience in managing day-to-day activities and project work makes you an ideal fit for this role.

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in the People function of a matrix, global business
  • Experience working with scaling businesses is advantageous
  • Experience implementing long-term strategic plans to support significant business growth
  • Hands-on experience providing operational HR support coupled with strategic planning
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proven people management, coaching and mentoring skills
