Our client is seeking a Sr Manager, Organizational Development and Talent Mgmt to be based in Penang.

This role is pivotal in shaping the company’s culture and driving employee performance. The successful candidate will develop strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness, foster talent growth, and ensure a high level of employee engagement. A key focus will be succession planning to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders within the organization.

What you'll do:

As a Sr Manager, Organizational Development and Talent Mgmt, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's culture. Your responsibilities will include developing strategies that align with business goals, conducting assessments to identify areas for improvement, facilitating change management initiatives, designing talent management programs, overseeing performance management processes, identifying high-potential employees, enhancing employee engagement, analyzing feedback data, addressing employee concerns, and coordinating with the Capability Development team.

  • Develop and implement organizational development strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct organizational assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes.
  • Design and execute talent management programs, including leadership development, career pathing, and succession planning.
  • Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Identify high-potential employees and create development plans to prepare them for future leadership roles.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction in collaboration with HR Business Partners.
  • Analyze employee feedback and survey data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to address employee concerns and foster a positive work environment.
  • Close coordination with Capability Development team in assessing training needs and develop comprehensive training programs to address skill gaps.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Sr Manager, Organizational Development and Talent Mgmt position will bring a wealth of experience in the field. You should have at least 5 years of experience in organizational development and talent management. A strong understanding of HR practices, talent management methodologies is essential. Excellent communication skills are required as you'll be working closely with various teams across the organisation. Proficiency in using HR software and tools is also necessary.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in HR or Organizational Development (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in organizational development and talent management.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, talent management, and organizational development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using HR software and tools.
