The perfect candidate will have a specialisation in tech recruitment, compensation and benefits, payroll administration, and performance management. This role calls for an experienced HR professional who is enthusiastic about crafting HR policies and processes from scratch to support their diverse workforce.
What you'll do:
As the Head, People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's human resources strategy. Your primary focus will be on designing a comprehensive compensation plan that attracts top talent in the tech/animation industry. You will also collaborate with finance and legal teams will be crucial in addressing any payroll-related concerns. Furthermore, you will be responsible for building effective HR policies that align with international labour laws. Your role will also involve resolving complex employee relations issues to foster a positive work environment. Lastly, you will create a quarterly performance appraisal process to drive performance results while establishing a feedback culture within the team.
- Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy to attract and retain top talent in the animation industry.
- Conduct regular salary benchmarking exercises to ensure competitiveness.
- Oversee and streamline payroll processes across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to address any payroll-related concerns.
- Build and implement effective HR policies to align with international labour laws and regulations.
- Address and resolve complex employee relations issues, fostering a positive work environment.
- Create and facilitate a quarterly performance appraisal process within the company to drive performance results and establish a feedback culture within the team.

What you bring:
As the Head, People & Culture, your extensive experience in Human Resources will be invaluable. With at least 8-12 years of progressive experience in HR roles, you have a proven track record in tech recruitment, compensation & benefits, and performance management. Your proficiency in managing payroll across multiple countries while ensuring accuracy and compliance will be crucial to this role. You are knowledgeable about international labour laws and regulations, which will aid in building effective HR policies. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to address complex HR issues and build out effective people strategies. Lastly, your excellent communication skills will ensure effective interaction with employees and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8-12 years of progressive experience in HR roles focusing on tech recruitment, compensation & benefits, and performance management.
- Track record of building and implementing HR processes within a fast-paced startup environment. Candidates who have worked in a start-up environment will be viewed favorably
- Knowledgeable about international labor laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills to address complex HR issues.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees and stakeholders.
