Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager for Talent Strategy. This role is pivotal in designing the Talent Management strategy and initiatives to ensure sustainable talent development, acquisition, learning, and talent bench.

This role provides distinct interfaces with the Malaysia Management Team, Regional Leadership, and Regional/Global Centres of Excellence.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Manager for Talent Strategy, you will be at the forefront of driving strategic workforce planning initiatives. You will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for talent development through innovative 'Buy, Build, Borrow' initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in establishing a data-driven approach to building a robust talent succession pipeline across all levels of our organisation. You will also play a key role in fostering a performance culture that encourages open dialogue about professional development needs and career aspirations. Your leadership will be pivotal in deploying effective leadership development programs that equip our leaders with the necessary skills to drive our culture forward.

  • Facilitate strategic workforce planning to ensure the organisation is prepared for the future.
  • Identify and deploy Buy, Build, Borrow initiatives.
  • Provide consulting support to Business partner to design and evolve a holistic approach to developing skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours required to deliver the Function strategy.
  • Establish a forward-looking and data-based approach to build talent succession pipeline for all levels.
  • Support business leaders in identifying diverse talents, planning and executing their individual development, building succession plans for critical roles.
  • Drive performance culture enabling managers and employees to set expectations and goals, give and receive feedback and discuss professional development needs and career aspirations.
  • Lead the Talent Review approach with a focus to amplify the talent landscape and devise the required capability interventions.
  • Deploy leadership development programs to ensure current and emerging leaders have the skills to drive the culture, effectively lead, engage and develop their teams.
  • Build strong employer brand positioning.
  • Develop a sustainable talent attraction plans to build diverse pipelines for future needs.
